Degree Plan (e.g. BS CS, BA Art)
Degree Progress (e.g. 3rd year)
If you are a computer science student, are you a member of an underrepresented or underserved minority within CS? This includes women, Black, Latinx, Native American, Pacific Islander, LGBTQ+, or people with disabilities.
From the Project Descriptions above, describe the project(s) you are interested in and what skills you could contribute to the project(s).
Are you part of any student organizations on campus? What is your role in these organizations, if applicable?
If selected, will you be available from September 1-7 for an interview?
A typical UGRS fellow will spend:
3 hours working on their research project
30 minutes each week presenting research progress
60 minutes each week attending research paper presentations (cycling through presentation duties with other UGRS fellows)
The program is self-paced -- you can end the semester with a full-formed research publication or leave roughly where you started. Consider taking on research if you can commit the time.
How much time can you realistically contribute weekly to research?
